Service User and Carer Involvement

Service users and carers are core in the provision of the education of health and social care professionals. As members of the programme teams, people actively contribute at all levels, this includes:

• programme validation
• curriculum design and evaluation
• developing learning and teaching resources
• co-teaching 
• independant teaching
• student assessment
• stretegic planning to constantly review and improve service user and carer involvement at UWE
